PARK MEADOWS SENIOR LIVING

This continuing care retirement community in Overland Park, KS was has many features to aid its senior residents. The community center is centrally sited to minimize walking distances and enhance access from apartments and cottages.

The project includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care units. Outside the central building, the facility also comprises 12 independent duplex cottages on the site. Residents have access to a variety of gathering spaces in the central community building: family rooms and intimate dining rooms, theater, library, game rooms, and an exercise area. The exterior landscape is arranged to encourage outdoor activities, walking and gardening.
