Set to the northwest of the interchange of I-25 and E-470, the site is ideally situated for an easy and accessible commute. A shuttle will regularly run to the RTD County Line light rail station, served by the E, F, and R lines. Centennial Airport is located a convenient 8-minute drive away. The plan focuses on the development’s outdoor spaces rather than the buildings, striving to foster indoor-outdoor connections and promote the outdoor experience of the site. The gently sloping site provides stunning views of the Front Range, and the buildings are stepped into the site to preserve sight lines to the mountains. From the entry plaza at the north end of the site, a walking/jogging path threads through the development to the southeast before continuing up along the southwestern edge to create a one-mile loop. The plan intersperses outdoor activities along this central path, including a children’s playground, beer garden, fire pit, yoga terrace, community garden, a space that serves as a volleyball pit in warm months and a skating rink in the cold, sand sculpture garden, rock climbing area, and a fishing bridge with a stocked pond. The northern end of the site is home to the formal drop-off, which opens out onto a great lawn space that incorporates an athletic field, amphitheater seating, and a bandshell. To the west, the lawn shifts into the site’s natural wetlands, with views out onto the mountains.
