We seek a full time Marketing Coordinator / Graphic Designer to join our Denver office, and is integral to our local and regional team. This professional provides strategic support to our Marketing and Business Development team, implementing the firm’s sustainable growth strategies across our market sector focus of education, commercial, healthcare, and science + technology studios. The ideal candidate can demonstrate high level graphic design experience and capabilities.


  • Bachelor and/or master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Architecture, Graphic Design or related creative or business fields
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience producing proposals and marketing/sales literature in the A/E/C industry
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop experience required, other graphic design or video software a plus)
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with a CRM database (Deltek Vision a plus)
  • Experience with Open-Asset a plus
  • Strong writing skills

  • Works with the Marketing and Business Development team to facilitate the proposal creation process including coordination with internal and sub-consultant teams; development of the strategic approach in the execution of proposal including schedule, content, layout and quality review; creation of graphics to illustrate important themes; copy editing/writing of compelling content; ensuring submission compliance with RFQ/P requirements; printing, packaging and delivery
  • Create visual design concepts for brochures, proposals, advertisements, magazines, presentations, reports, and other materials
  • Help to evolve and maintain the firm’s branding and identity
  • Participate in the interview process and supports the development of presentations
  • Interact with project managers to obtain “on the boards” and close-out project information for updates and housekeeping
  • Produce marketing collateral and promotional items for advertisements, award submittals, business development efforts, conferences/trade show events, PR and social media

The ideal candidate has a passion and commitment to the practice of architecture for healthcare facilities and understands the important part we play in successful outcomes for all constituents.

The position is focused on the Healthcare design, medical planning and technical execution of new construction, additions and renovations of healthcare facilities including acute and ambulatory care, and diagnostic/testing facilities.


The candidate will possess knowledge and experience in current healthcare design, planning strategies, and technical requirements, as well as the desire to actively seek new knowledge regarding the process, technology, and trends of delivering healthcare, and the design solutions related to these new trends.

  • Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited university
  • Licensed Architect
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience (with 5 specifically related to healthcare) in delivering healthcare architecture for acute and ambulatory care, diagnostic facilities (labs, imaging, testing), treatment and/or medical office.
  • EDAC Certification a plus.
  • Experience with Lean planning principals, Lean Certification a plus
  • LEED or WELL accreditation a plus


  • Has demonstrated experience in interior renovations, expansions and/or ground-up healthcare projects
  • Has experience leading or participating, and documenting client user group meetings, and programming
  • Has the ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of a client’s program, requirements, standards and policies for incorporation into the design solution and documents
  • Has experience and knowledge with commercial healthcare construction means and methods, building materials, systems and technologies
  • Has experience with the process of jurisdictional authority approvals: planning, building permit, local or state agency review, and other various agencies as may be required, including the Joint Commission, DFPC/CDPHE, and ICRA
  • Has experience and knowledge of detail application of ADA, building and life safety codes, standards, guidelines and other regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities
  • Has demonstrated technical proficiency in all phases of architectural delivery: design, production, specification coordination, construction phase services, and coordination with mechanical, electrical and life safety systems disciplines
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail
  • Is proficient in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD (a plus), and Bluebeam. SketchUp or other design/rendering software a plus.
  • Can work independently with minimal oversight, or work as a collaborating team member providing guidance and oversight to other team members.
  • Has strong organizational, communication, time management, and relationship management skills. Capable of managing multiple projects/tasks and competing deadlines
  • Is willing to listen, learn, and work well with others
  • Is efficient with quality (speed and accuracy) – is a highly flexible and capable “doer” – gets things done, on time, and gets it done right (checks their own work)
