Far Northeast Campus #28 Receives ENR Award

ENR Award

MOA’s Far Northeast Campus #28 project, a PK-8 school in Denver, has received a prestigious ENR Mountain States award in the K-12 Education category. Submitted by the project’s contractor, Adolfson & Peterson Construction, the project was in competition with submissions from across Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and North Dakota. The nine-member jury, drawn from across the A/E/C industry, selected winners and merit awards from 124 total entries.

According to ENR, submitted projects are chosen on the basis of “design and construction quality, contribution to the community and the industry and how [the project teams] overcame unusual challenges through teamwork and innovation.”

Far Northeast Campus #28 is notable for the tremendous teamwork between the client, Denver Public Schools, Adolfson & Peterson, and MOA, designing and delivering the project in 15 months and under budget. Recognized projects will appear in the October issue of ENR Mountain States, and winners will be honored at a breakfast awards events in Denver and Salt Lake City in the coming weeks.

Golf Day 2018

Is there a better way to spend a Friday afternoon then playing 18 holes of golf? Team MOA had an incredible time at Evergreen Golf Course which was made even better thanks to our friends at Snarf’s Sandwiches who sponsored the 10th hole! While waiting to tee off teammates got the chance to win Snarf’s swag by hitting a jumbo marshmallow into a cornhole hole. It’s a lot harder to do than it looks! A big THANK YOU to MOA teammates Rena Foster and Principal Eric Vogel who organized this event! We can’t wait for the next time!
