2015 Ping Pong Tournament

The competition was fierce during this year’s MOA Ping Pong tournament, with the lead changing almost as fast as the ball was going back and forth over the net. In the end Michael McDonald beat Barry Koury to become the 2015 Singles champion!

Michael was also teamed up with Nathan Martin and together they edged out Bret Kudlicki and Greg Martin to win the Doubles Championship!

We Run, We Ride!!

MOA team members go the distance! MOA’s Director of Marketing and Business Development, Tim Barr, participated in the Leadville Silver Rush 50 Run. He ran 50 miles, yes you read that right, 50 miles, through the historic mining district on the east side of Leadville. The extreme mountain course started at an elevation of 10,200 feet and reached to 12,000 feet on several separate occasions. He completed the run in 9 hours, 15 minutes, 3 seconds….that’s an amazing 11:07 minutes per mile! Way to go Tim!!

And just as impressive, MOA’s very own Jack Mousseau took part in the 27th Anniversary Triple Bypass Bicycle Ride. The 120 mile ride headed west from Evergreen crossed over Juniper Pass (11,140 ft.), Loveland Pass (11,990 ft.), Swan Mountain and Vail Pass (10,560 ft.) and concluded in Avon. It has over 10,000 feet of challenging elevation gain, and is recognized as one of the premier cycling events for those who DARE! Way to DARE Jack!

Sand in the City 2015

It was fun in the sun for MOA team members who took part in the 3rd Annual Sand in the City Festival hosted by the Arvada Chamber of Commerce. The two-day festival is Colorado’s premier beach party, and it raises funds and awareness for the Arvada Chamber of Commerce and the city’s many business, nonprofit, and community offerings!

Pi Day at MOA!

March 14, 3/14, or Pi Day! MOA team members went through endless pi-sibilites and brought in the pie they thought would take the cake! We had six pies competing in our Denver office and two pies competing in our Casper office. After much debate the winner in Casper was Brandon’s “Chocolate and Peanut Butter Reese Cup Pie” while in the Denver office Bret’s “Dutch Apple Pie with a Kick” was the clear winner! We almost didn’t get a picture with the winner and his pie before it was all gone!
