The Highlands Ranch Town Center is a mixed use development of commercial, retail, multifamily housing and parks. To meet the Owner’s desire for an “old town” experience within suburban Highlands Ranch, the Town Center is symbolically anchored by a clock tower fronting on a village green. Lower Downtown Denver (LODO) historical masonry structures were studied and are the inspiration for the architecture. The buildings introduce brick masonry facades with seemingly “historical” detailing in conjunction with slabs of sandstone, also used extensively in the buildings of LODO. In association with RLA Design, MOA was the Architect of Record for one two-story mixed use building, two multi-tenant retail buildings and the Town Center parking structure.
