Riverside Indian School Breaks Ground

Riverside Indian School is located on the northern edge of Anadarko, Oklahoma and is the oldest federally operated American Indian boarding school in the country. The new Academic High School will expand the current Riverside Indian School campus and replace the older outdated high school facility. The new 64,000 square-foot facility is currently on track to achieve a LEED Silver rating and provide an excellent state-of-the-art learning environment for close to 400 students. Construction completion is scheduled for early 2014.

Crow Creek Tribal School Opening

Achieving LEED Silver Certification, the Crow Creek Tribal School on the Crow Creek Indian Reservation in Stephan, South Dakota celebrated its grand opening in August.

The Crow Creek Tribal School is a K-12 campus of buildings serving 390 students in over 125,000 sf consisting of administration/classroom facilities, athletic facilities, student dormitories, a bus barn, and staff housing.

MOA ARCITECTURE was the project designer through Design Development for the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). The project was handed off to Kraus-Anderson Construction Company as a design/build project to complete the construction documents and build the project. Perkin + Will is the Architect of Record.

Another Award for DaVita World Headquarters!

The DaVita World Headquarters project was honored at DU’s 2012 Project of the Year competition in both Project of the Year and Office Project of the Year categories.

The awards recognize outstanding accomplishments in architectural design, site planning and creativity, as well as project impact on the industry, economy and the community as a whole.
